After graduating with a Masters degree in Communication and Science Disorders from the University of Florida, Maria spent 15 years working in Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. During her tenure at CHOA, Maria mastered skills in the areas of pediatric Language Disorders, Articulation Disorders, Craniofacial Disorders, Apraxia, Autism, Bilingualism and AAC. Maria has attended PROMPT Level 1 courses and has extensive experience working with the Center for Craniofacial Disorders at CHOA. In addition to her time at CHOA, Maria has been proudly providing home health services in the community since 2011.

When she is not providing therapy, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and dog in the City of Decatur.
